Today I bought a Kenko Infrared R72 52 mm filter. I was very excited about that, knowing what IR photography is like. So I went out with my good friend John

for a photo shoot in Botanical garden. Since my knowledge about IR photography is very low when I started to do first photos I've had some unwanted surprises. I noticed that when shooting in Color mode all the photos have a red color balance. It was like I mounted a red filter instead of an IR. I've tried several times but the result was the same. I switched to B&W mode. The result was much better. It looked like ordinary IR photos. Also I've tried some HDR shots today. Stay tuned I will upload my first results.
P.S. Please I have a big dilemma. Could someone tell me how to shot COLOR IR photos like the ones on this site. Thank you !
bine te-am gasit.
